Hello! Welcome to my blog, which I use to showcase interesting things, inspirations, work in progress, as well as updates on what I'm up to both professionally and personally. www.rosiegaisnborough.com
Framing in progress: just a little pic of the half-built frame for my new ‘For a Quart of Ale print’. This frame was a bit of an experiment and I’m pretty pleased with the result. Framed at The Landscape Gallery in Market Harborough - if you live in Leicestershire check them out, they are the best!
I have framed my new ‘For a Quart of Ale’ print. Available to buy for £85 framed or £50 unframed. Dimensions: 40cm x 40cm approx. The frame is a pine box frame, stained a red/brown to match the wood tones in the print and hand-finished with clear bee’s wax. I’m pretty pleased with the result!
New print! I’ve just finished this new print based on a quote by Shakespeare ‘For a quart of ale is a dish for a king’ from a Winter’s Tale. The print will be available as an editioned giclee print, signed by myself. I will put pictures up of a framed version soon. There will be more drinks related prints coming soon as I’m going to do a series - suggestions welcome! Cider is coming next I think…
I’ve been framing some prints today. They are high quality giclee prints on 350gsm art paper - 40cm x 40cm - framed in pine box frames, hand finished with white wax. Available for £85 each, please email me if interested!
I did these a couple of months ago for a cafe in Shropshire - they will be printed onto postcards and posters. It was a really fun project to work on. If you’d like me to design some quirky images to use as promotion for your business just get in touch!
The Opening for The Landscape Gallery’s new exhibition is tonight! I’m looking forward to it. I also did this a-board to promote the event - I didn’t have much time to do the job but I think it works ok!
